lawyers en vogue

Cool event: The First Comprehensive Conference on Blog Law & Blogging for Lawyers in SF on April 20-21. I really wish I could go but will be shut out due to exams. Oh yeah, those. Dread.

Do any law schools currently offer blog law as an elective? That would be pretty neat.

Last semester I went to a blog conference in Shanghai, but it wasn't law specific. I did score a lot of cool free stuff like a massage pen that plays soothing music and cell phone antennae boosters with corporate logos of various Chinese companies. This event is the first I've seen here in the States. Law students get half off registration fees too. I bet the gift bags there will be filled with fun futuristic goodies. I really wish I could go. Curse those wretched exam thingies.

I predict that within a year or two, every major law firm will have its very own blog on their respective websites. And if they don't, then somebody in their marketing department should tell them that we are in the 21st century and that scientific evidence has empirically proven that dinosaurs become extinct.
